January 23-31, 2009

A group of 38 people will be leaving January 23-31, 2009 for a week of missions with El Ayudante in Leon, Nicaragua. The group comes from a variety of churches, and a variety of cities. On the trip, we will be doing medical clinics, carnivals, VBS, construction, water purification training, and also working with the Nicaragua National Police. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel. This site will be updated regularly while we are on our journey, so check back to see how we are doing and leave us notes of prayer encouragement.     I am sitting at the church waiting on y'all to get here! It is 0135 in the morning however and I am up with the Room in the Inn guys! I was just thinking about something one of the guys said to me tonight! He said y'all have a good church here, people do what they read in the Bible. I thought that was a good thing to think about as you all travel. I am jealous some of my best buddies in the world are on this trip and I wish I was leaving the cold for the tropical warmth! I will leave the heat in July for the tropical warmth, but that doesn't quite work the same does it! Take care, work hard, laugh loud and praise God! Check on you tomorrow!

    Ashley, We want you to know that you are in our prayers and that we are so proud of you for following your heart and doing what God would have you do. We know you will touch many lives in Nicaragua just as you do at home. You are a blessing to many. May God be with you and keep us up on what's happening. We love you.
